Fruit basket (Apple) 50p/ 0.65 Euros/ US$1

This is a simply delightful apple charm. Very unusual! I've been looking for such charms for ages, but this is the first time I've found them! They're very, very light (made of varnished paper I believe? Despite the lightness, they are not easily crushed) and can be used in earrings. Of a good size, they'll also do very well in necklaces or charm bracelets.
First in a series of fruit charms.

More coming soon...

Hello Divine~ unfortunately tt's all tt I was able to upload last night. Got back from work at 11 plus and fell asleep in the middle of uploading! Will upload more tonight, feel free to drop me any comments or requirements via email :) Have a nice day today!

Opal petal (Czech) 50 for 2.70 pounds/ 3,40 Euros/ US$5.60

This lovely curved opal-coloured Czech petal bead is charming. There is a hole runningthrough the width of the bead (the hole is located at the pointed end, at the top of the picture, near the number 5) which mkes it perfect for dangling earrings, charm bracelets, or lariat necklaces.
3 lots of 50 available. Get all, and there's a discount! :)

Golden tear (Czech) 50 beads for 6 pounds/ 7.50 Euros/ US$12.50 (2 lots available)

This amber teardrop would do wonderfully as the petals of flowers. Also great as an accent bead in any piece of jewellery.
You might wonder why this bead is so much more affordable than "Czech Swirls" Well the reason is tt this bead does not have the same amt of detail- it is a nice clear golden brown, with no lampwork details inside.
Only 2 lots of 50 beads available!

Czech swirls (only 10 available) 1.50 pounds/ 1.90 EUros/ US$3

This photo is not a gd portrayal of this lovely Czech bead, which is 1 of my favourites in my collection :) I'll be sad to part with them, but I've already made 1 necklace with this bead, so it's not like I won't have any left!

With swirls of blue and purple, each bead is slightly different, and a glossy smooth finish makes it 1 classy looking bead (Can a bead look classy? Well it's a bead tt will add class to any piece it graces :) )

Divine, I hope these beads were what you had in mind when you asked for Czech beads! If not, do let me know what you have in mind! I also have seed beads which I will upload soon :)

Storage box 7.40 pounds/ 9 Euros/ US$15

As the name of the blog so aptly sums up, this shop aims to provide you with ALL your beading necessities, and this obviously includes storage containers! I don't know abt you guys, but I often find my creativity hindered by lack of storage boxes, because I can't see all my beads together!

Tt's what I love abt this plastic box. It is clear and large, so tt you can store many types of beads together. I have put a bead & a 5p coin inside to give u a sense of the size. But one thing it doesn't convey well is the depth of the box, which is around 3 cm.
One thing to note though is tt some of the latches can be tricky. You need to position your fingers towards the bottom of the latch to ensure tt it slides in well. Once u get the box, you'll see what I mean.
I do have other boxes which have better latches but they're nowhere as large. Correspondingly they're cheaper too :) Anyway drop me a line if u're interested :) Pls also email me to let me know what you think abt my beads! I'm feeling a lil self-conscious at the amt of "monologuing" tt I'm doing :)

Black and white rainbow 6 Pounds/ 7.50 Euros/ US$12.50

There are slightly over 30 of these lovely quartz beads on 1 string. What attracted me to this string of semi-precious beads, out of the many strands at this shop, was how clear and the quartz was and the lovely pattern that the black streaks within the quartz formed. (The photo has just uploaded- it does not look lovely and clear here at all- more like murky and blur! Need to do something abt my photography skills- once I've earned some money from this site I plan to take a photography course! :) )
Currently only 2 strands available, but I fully mean to buy more strands soon!

Caged butterfly 1 pound/ 1.25 Euros/ US$2

This bead is carved from fishbone. It has 2 holes through it, 1 running through the bar/line at the top (above the butterfly) and 1 running through the bar/line at the bottom.

It is a very unique, very lovely bead. The colour is a light yellow, ivory shade. I bought a bracelet made from these beads from this lil old shop - they only had 1 or 2 of the bracelets (with this particular bead. Other carved fishbone beads will be available soon- also fm this same shop :)- in fact i think it might be a vintage bead but am not sure. Moral of the story is, doubt you'll find this elsewhere :)

Rose in a blue garden 2.40 pounds/ 3 Euros/ US$5

This exquisite glass bead with a rose in the centre comes all the way from Japan. As you know, Japanese products tend to be of very good quality- and they know it and charge for it :) You can see the attention tt they pay to detail in the 2 tone bead- half of it is light blue and half a darker blue, providing an attractive contrast to the pink rose, and making the bead very soothing to the eyes.
Hence, this is a lil more expensive than my other glass beads. On the up side, I only have 2 of this bead (and don't think you can get more anywhere else), making it highly unusual :) so what are you waiting for?:)

What's tt noise again? (90p/ 1.20 Euros/ US$2.4)

This lil 14k gold-plated charm is ultra cool- it's actually a little gramophone! Should bring most of us right back to our childhood!
Great for creating something totally unique- this is the first time I've seen this charm anywhere- and trust me I've frequented a LOT of bead shops, in many different countries! :)

Trio of roses (70p/ 0/88 Euro/ US$1.50)

This delicate clay bead comprises 3 exquisite roses. Such care has been put into its creation tt you can even see the lines on each petal and leaf! Definitely a must-have in every avid beader's collection!
Good for adding a vintage or victorian air to any piece. Limited quantities available.

Glass Mask (for 3 beads: 1 pound/ 1.25 Euros/ US$2.30)

You might be wondering why I'm naming this bead "Glass Mask" :) Well, my favourite manga (japanese comic- actually practically the only comic tt I read!) is "Garasu no Kamen" which means "Glass Mask". Central to the plot are the purple roses that the hero sends to the heroine, everytime he helps her. He is her secret fan (she is an actress)... oh no this is sounding awfully cheesy! Anyway this is a REALLY good comic so this bead is named in honour of it! :)
Again, these beads are made of polymer clay (I think!) with each petal individually and delicately formed :)

No longer adrift (1.35 pounds/ 1.70 Euros/ US$3.50)

This 14k gold-plated anchor charm is one of my faves. I love how smooth the metal looks, really rich and golden! This is a good-sized charm, so it works great on necklaces- makes an excellent focal pt. Also works well on charm bracelets!
For more nautical & sea charms, read on!

Singing canary (1.20 pounds/ 1.50 Euros/ US$3.10)

This little 14k gold-plated charm is a bird sitting (standing?) on a round perch... It will add a nice oriental flavour to any piece tt you make. Personally, I love using smaller charms in earrings and bracelets, and larger charms for necklaces- just some food for thought :)
Available in a limited quantity

Golden giraffe (85p/ 1 Euro/ US$2.30)

This is a lovely 14k gold-plated charm, shaped like a giraffe. It looks much nicer in reality than in the photo- think it must be lighting... need to work on tt! But do note tt this charm is not a bright yellow gold, but more muted (normally gold plated items tend to be more muted.. if it's a very bright yellow, chances are it's probably coated base metal)
It can be used not only in jewellery, but for scrapbooks as well! The other side of the giraffe is smooth- so essentially you are getting 2 different charms for the price of 1!

Blue medley (45p/ 0.60 Euros/ US$1.10)

Hello! "Blue medley" belongs to the same range as "pink rose"- as you can see from the photo, it's quite a bit smaller though. I would say about it's about 2-2.5 times smaller, which has a charm of its own, being nice and delicate. The soft blue colour makes it ever so soft and gentle looking, suitable for girly-girls everywhere! :)
Unfortunately, this bead is only available in 1 colour, as shown above. I wil soon have similar roses in other colours, but with slight differences in design. Currently available in limited stock- fingers crossed tt I can find more :)

Pink rose (95p/ 1.20 Euros/ US$2.50)

This is such a lovely rose bead tt I almost couldn't bear to part with it. Happily, I am able to get a limited number of these, so I decided to share my great find with all of you! :) The hole runs diagonally across the bead- it lies under the petal so you can't see it- and is very easy to use in jewellery! In fact, I made a necklace using one such rose bead, and received many compliments on it:) I will be more than happy to share the photo with interested buyers for inspiration- but pls do not copy my designs without first seeking my permission!
Oh I nearly forgot to mention the material tt this bead is made of- I believe it is made of polymer clay but am not 100% sure. It is soft and flexible- but of course pls do not press it too forcefully or it may break! I will definitely pack it (and all other beads) well when sending to you guys!
Other colours will be available soon... keep checking this site! :)

Flowers in a teardrop 3 pounds/ 4.50 Euros/ US$6.8 (only 1 piece available)

This glass bead/pendant is very pretty. There are golden sparkles and blue flower petals set against a shining silver background. This bead would make any girl feel like a princess! It would look great in a set of wedding jewellery.

I currently only have 1 such bead but this weekend, I will hit the shops to look for more!

Wishing you every happiness 10 pounds/ 12.5 Euros/ US$23 (Only piece)

This mother-of-pearl bead has been delicately carved into a symbol of joy. The character in the centre is the Chinese (and Japanese I believe?) word for joy or happiness. It is often used during weddings, or the new year, to wish for happiness in the future.

As this is bead is made out of natural mother-of-pearl, the back is not entirely smooth (there is 1 small indentation) But this in no way mars the perfection of the bead- if you are not convinced, I will be more than happy to send you a picture of the back!
Why not get this one-of-a-kind bead to make into a lucky charm for a friend or even yourself? :) There is only 1 piece available so better not wait! :)

Red forest 1.50 pounds/ 1.90 Euros/ US$2.70 (only 2 pieces available)

This lovely oval-shaped bead is made out of cinnabar and is carved on both sides. In case you can't make it out in the photo, the delivate carving is of a bird amidst flowers. (The sides are not carved) Any piece of jewellery that you make with this bead is sure to be very unique and one-of-a-kind!
I have only recent discovered cinnabar beads and find them to be absolutely gorgeous. Look out for more to come- my new mission is to hunt out more of such lovely beads!

A sea of flowers 60p/ 0.75Euros/ US$1.60 (only 5 pieces available)

This photo really does not do this lovely bead justice. What appears as a brown stripe in the picture is really a glittering copper swirl in reality. The delicate pink flowers appear to be floating in a shimmering blue ocean. This bead will be sure to enhance any piece of jewellery that it is used for.
Although I only have 5 of these beautiful beads, they are also available in different colours. More information will be posted soon!

A new start

Hello all! I've been thinking about setting up a craft shop for the longest time now. And here I am finally doing it! :) I still don't quite have the courage to make this my full time profession (alas) but nevertheless I plan to put heart and soul into this blog shop to make it a success!

I hope all of you like the beads that you see here. What I love about beading is the endless variety of beads and findings- plain beads, fancy beads, expensive beads, normal beads... When I studied in Scotland, I had a much harder time getting beads, as most of the shops were just too far away and I know tt alot of my pals in Europe have told me abt this problem as well. So I hope this shop goes a small way in bringing the wonderful world of beading a lil closer to your doorstep :) Although I do have some "basic beads" (the one-colour beads tt is needed for almost all designs), I try my best to feature beads which are more unusual. Hopefully, beads tt you won't be able to find anywhere else :) Nonetheless, if I have more than 1 piece of a bead, I will indicate it as such.

Besides retail, I also sell beads wholesale. For wholesale quantities & prices, pls email me at metamorphosis_accessories@yahoo.co.uk and let me know how many beads u were thinking of purchasing and we can work something special out for you :)

Enjoy browsing and feel free to leave comments! :)
